Every month, a handful of volunteers from Temple Shalom go over to our friends at Heading Home, Inc. to provide the shelter residents there with a warm meal and good company. Heading Home just sent along a blog post that they put up last month, and I wanted to share it with everyone. Click here to read all about it! Thank you to our Social Action committee who is committed to bringing people over to Heading Home every month to cook dinners. Social Action is all about the relationships we form through the ma-asim tovim, the good work performed. This is an example of the sacred connections we can make with one another and with those who we are able to help.
If you are interested in participating in the Heading Home dinners, please be in touch!
